Halloween has always been my favorite time of year. So when Cheetos and Integer calls with a scary movie themed Chester, I'm always going to be morbidly enthused. For this one, the bag and popcorn were put in later by Production. I illustrated Chester in his usual usual way but with some scary underlighting. The VHS tape, remote, bucket and chair I decided to create in 3d and give it a cartoony effect to meld with Chester.
Any Chester usually starts with several versions of my sketches until we get the pose and energy just right.
